Baby Handprint Craft Personalised T-shirt
Basic Materials Needed:
1. Washable Fabric Paint in several colors
2. Disposable plate paper plates 1 for each color
Extra Materials Needed:
Instructions:
Place the T-shirt on a flat surface; the
ironing board is ideal for this just remember to put some newspaper down first,
also place several layers between the front and back of the T-shirt so the
Fabric Paint wont bleed through.
Place
a small amount of fabric paint into as many plates as required 1 for each
color and maybe a few extras to mix colors in.
Color
the palm of your child's hands with fabric paint
Lift their
hands straight up making sure not to smear the handprint as you do so.
Make sure
you wash your child’s hands right away so the paint doesn't dry making
it much harder to remove. Repeat this step as necessary if using more than
one color.
When the handprints
on the T-shirt are touch dry, use fabric paint to write your child’s
name next to their handprint. You could also include a special message and
the year.
Then follow the directions
on the washable fabric paint label as to drying and washing instructions

once this is done the fabric paint is quite durable and long lasting.
